I have been patient of Heather's for many years which has helped me immensely. I was once on cyclosporine, methotrexate (both very strong immune suppressant drugs) and prednisone for very serious case of lupus and scleroderma with kidney and blood involvement. Heather's wonderful food sensitivity and organ system testing gave her the information to tell me what foods I need to avoid from time to time (to help calm my immune system down to become more normal) plus she recommended remedies and supplements to help my organs and tissues recover. They also helped with the side effects of these strong medications. We also repaired some of the damage caused by the disease and controlled my pain and inflammation to point where I am 95% back to my old self. This helped me eventually get off medications all together. My rheumatologist and dermatologist are astounded with my recovery and the long duration of remission that I have enjoyed. I now visit her from time to time for a "tune up" when I feel I might be run down, for preventation measures and to take a front line defense.

About Heather
I originally became interested in homeopathy when a family member fell ill. With the conventional approach, I found that there was no prevention or counselling on how to remove obstacles creating ill health. This is when I decided to seek alternative treatments for my family. I was really impressed with the time and care taken to listen. They did not just want to hear about the disease, but energy, sleep patterns, appetite, digestion, diet and lifestyle.
I was blessed to find natural medicine. In 1996, I decided to change my career to become a homeopath. It was one of the best decisions I have made. Over the years I have become more interested and educated in other natural therapies such as diet, microscopy and studying holistic nutrition. I currently spend over one hour a day studying the latest research on alternative therapies. Today my main goal is to aid patients by taking into consideration their unique needs and improve their health by supporting their body's natural functions through the use of homeopathy, holistic nutrition, diet and supplements. Functional support that our clients receive are:
- Improving diet, nutrition and lifestyle
- Assessing nutritional data through a variety of tools such as questioning, darkfield microscopy, organ stress testing, food sensitivity testing, hair mineral analysis for example
- Finding a homeopathic remedy that is suited to one's constitutional make up
-
Supporting natural functions of the body through various methods such as:
- Supporting the liver's ability to detoxify and make bile for fat digestion
- Lymphatic and kidney support
- Improving circulation and cardiovascular health through diet and holistic nutrition
- Improving the absorptive surface of the intestinal tract by improving digestion, removing pathogens and optimizing good flora
- Supporting hormonal health (adrenal glands, female and male hormonal system) through diet and holisitc nutrition
- Aiding the body's ability to excrete toxins such as heavy metals
Today in my practice, my mission is to provide clients with practical, natural methods to achieve their health goals. I respect each person's unique condition and am realistic in my expectations. I seek to improve the whole body's terrain, both physically and emotionally. This strengthens the person so they can preserve good health.

In 2009 I published a best-selling book called "Your Drug Free Guide to Digestive Health" which covers many common digestive ailments and their solutions. For more information, click here to visit my Bookstore. I have a new book called "Your Drug Free Guide to Healthy Weight Loss" which talks about losing weight once and for all by addressing the blocks that prevent our success, a healthy diet, wrapping your mind around healthy eating as a lifestyle, being accountable for food intake, negative self talk and other physical issues such as hormonal imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, blood sugar problems, lack of sleep, inactivity and food sensitivities. Both books are available as a soft cover and e-book.
I had the pleasure of being on Intuitive Soul Radio in December 2009, with host Laurie Huston, click here to listen to the broadcast!

Clinic 101
The first visit takes about an hour and a half to complete. Follow up appointments are usually 45 minutes to one hour.
Be prepared to answer many questions because your symptoms make you different from everyone else. Any additional information you can provide is very helpful, such as:
- When do you feel like this?
- When did this start?
- What makes is better or worse?
Think about your general health, energy, eating habits and digestion. At the end of the session, you will be tested for organ stress, and for compatibility with certain remedies using Electrodermal Screening.
REMEDIES THAT ARE RECOMMENDED
Homeopathic remedies are preferred because they are the safest and most gentle. Vitamins, supplements, herbs, gemmotherapy or trace elements may be suggested.
ELECTRODERMAL SCREENING
This is a noninvasive method tool for testing food and environmental sensitivities, organ stress or weakness and/or pathogens.
It takes measurements from acupuncture points (which correspond to a organ systems) on the hands and feet. Certain values detect an energy excess or weakness in the organ systems.
BIOTHERAPEUTIC DRAINAGE
Remedies are made from homeopathic combinations, gemmotherapy or mother tinctures that enhance health by improving function. Toxins may accumulate in organ systems such as the liver, gallbladder, intestines, heart, nervous system & thyroid.
DARKFIELD MICROSCOPY
This is a test used for detecting nutritional disturbances (such as essential fatty acids, B12, folic acid and iron), digestive disturbances such as poor fat and protein digestion, acidity/alkalinity in the body, oxygenation of the cells and immune system cells. This tool is not intended to diagnose diseases but to check nutritional status.
WEIGHT LOSS GROUPS
At the clinic we offer both private and group sessions for healthy eating and weight loss. This is no fad diet, but a lifestyle to keep you slim and healthy forever. The clinic offers a 6 and 12 week package. Average weight loss in those who adhere to the program range from 6 to 28 pounds over a period of 5 weeks. Those with more to lose naturally lose more. During each session you will meet with Heather one on one or with the group and weigh in. In week one you will start with our healthy eating course, learn what foods are worth it and what are not and how much you need to eat to obtain your goal. Week two talks about barriers to weight loss and how to thwart them. In Week three you will learn what superfoods are for your optimum health and longevity. Week four is a recipe share and cooking demo for the group. Week five is why you need to move it or lose it. Week five is how to stay on target, what to do to stay motivated. Please contact the clinic for more information on class times.
