In interesting study on rats fed cocoa that were given a carcinogen known to cause colon cancer found that there seemed to be a protective effect when very high doses were given. Don't rush out and eat a lot of chocolate daily, it is the cocoa itself and the study was done on mice. Read more at the Huffington post....
